Connect TripCache to your AI assistant
TripCache's travel MCP server puts your booked trips in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, Hermes or OpenClaw. Add one link, then ask about your next flight, a trip or what you've spent. Pick your assistant for its own steps.
Your TripCache link
ProPaste this into your assistant as the server URL. It's also in the app under Profile → AI agents.

How connecting works
The same three steps in every assistant. Connecting needs TripCache Pro, and you can disconnect any assistant in the app.
- 1
Copy the link
Use the TripCache link on this page, or copy it in the app under Profile → AI agents.
- 2
Add it to your assistant
Each assistant calls it something different: a custom connector, an MCP server or a remote connector.
- 3
Approve on your phone
The TripCache sign-in page shows a number. Tap the same number in TripCache on your phone.
What you can ask
- “When's my next flight?”The flight, its times and its current status.
- “Show my Melbourne trip”The trip's flights, stays and plans, in order.
- “How much have I spent in Melbourne?”Spending so far against your budget, by category.
- “Which documents do I have for this trip?”The names of the files saved to the trip, not their contents.
- “Add a Hertz car to my Melbourne trip”A new booking on the trip, if you allowed adding bookings when you connected.
Questions about connecting AI assistants
What is a travel MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to other apps. TripCache's MCP server lets an assistant read the trips you've saved in TripCache, so it can answer from your real flights, stays and spending instead of guessing.
Which AI assistants can connect to TripCache?
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini (web app, limited), Grok, Perplexity, and the self-hosted Hermes and OpenClaw agents. Claude and ChatGPT show answers as TripCache cards. Meta's Muse isn't supported yet.
Is it for my own bookings or for searching flights?
Your own bookings. The assistant sees trips you've already saved in TripCache, so it can tell you when your next flight leaves or what you've spent. It doesn't search for, book or pay for travel.
Is it safe to connect an assistant to my trips?
You approve each connection on your phone and choose whether the assistant can add bookings. Confirmation numbers, booking prices and notes aren't shared, and you can disconnect any assistant in Profile → AI agents.
Do I need a paid plan?
Connecting an assistant needs TripCache Pro. Some assistants also need one of their own paid plans; each guide lists what it needs.
